Ken has a great staff from reception, to the dental hygienists, to himself. I really enjoy coming to the dentist and getting my dental fitness score. Mariam has been doing a great job taking care of my teeth. I would recommend his office to everyone.

Talk about being thorough, Dr. Schweifler and his staff go above and beyond. Our first appt took about 1.5hrs for an informative consultation, exam, and full set of xrays. He took his time to get to know me, ask about my concerns, and future plans for my mouth. I was very impressed. I’m looking forward to my cleaning with Jen as well😃

I've only had one visit so far, but Dr. Schweifler was very thorough and methodical. Makes me feel that nothing will be missed, especially when it isn't a routine visit (like now). I also like his clear explanations of everything that's going on, and his informal demeanor.

I've been going to Ken and his team for about 10 years and have always been impressed by the professionalism and thoroughness of their work. Ken had to correct some work done by another dentist and he did a great job. Rather than trying to fix everything at once we came up with a game plan that worked with me and also with my insurance plan. His dental hygienists are first rate and I've never experienced a mis-step. First rate experience.

Extremely thorough and affordable, they told me about different gum cleaning procedures I had never even heard of, and showed me how previous tooth cleanings were missing deep pockets that were retaining lots of plaque. They have turned my mouth around, I strongly recommend them!

My husband, daughter and I had the best experience with Dr. Ken! We are impressed by his attitude to work and his professionalism. He was able to find solutions to the situations which would puzzle other doctors, even if that was out of scope of his work. Very costumer- oriented, always listens to the patients. Huge thank you for such a great experience and the brilliant work! If we decide to get back to CA, we will definitely get back to Dr. Ken :)

I cannot recommend Dr. Schweifler and his staff highly enough! Dr. Schweifler is very personable and easy to talk to. He took his time answering my many questions and I never felt rushed. His office was calming and his team worked very well together. Communication between myself and the front office was perfection regarding appointments, insurance and referrals. The entire experience far exceeded my expectations and I will not hesitate to return again.

My wife and I have been going to Ken and he team for years now and couldn't be more pleased! I love that I get to see the same hygienist every time for all the obvious reasons. The fact that his team sticks around also speaks for itself. I love the philosophy of "health centered dentistry" as they really think deeply about your specific care. They are also very focused on teaching you how to do preventative maintenance which I think is totally key. When I started going to see them almost 10 years ago I had several issues that had been neglected for quite a while and needed to be addressed. Over the years they have helped me to build a comprehensive daily practice to take care of my oral health and the results are simply astounding, I now basically have excellent oral health. As long as you commit to the recommendations you will see incredible change too. Go see Ken and his team, you won't regret it!

I've been going to this practice for ~50 years and my oral health continues to be excellent. I would consider Dr. Schweifler's practice to be the most competent, professional, personable and friendly dental practice out there. Their emphasis on prevention has served me extremely well over the years. I consider nothing to be more important than my health, which is precisely why I visit 2x per year.

Dr. Schweifler had been my dentist off and on whenever job transfers found me living back in the Bay Area. After three rounds of orthodontia, two in late adulthood, I STILL didn't have enough teeth that met to properly chew food. Dr. Schweifler did extensive preliminary work to calculate how best to correct this with overlays, and over the course of many weeks of appointments we finally completed the overlays, and I my teeth now meet on both sides of my mouth. I drove 400 miles round trip for each of these appointments, because there is no one else I would trust to do this.

I had a problem and called to see the dentist as soon as possible. He fit me in even though he had a very busy schedule. check out the problem. When he checked out my concerns, he was caring, explained everything, and felt the need to send me to a specialist. He had the woman at the front desk call ahead for me and see if the specialist could fit me in as soon as possible. Once again, it happened with this specialist who also had a very busy schedule. I could not be more thankful for all everyone did to accommodate me on such short notice. Dr. Schweifler, DDS, is a caring dentist who listens, takes his time figuring out the problem, and doesn't rush into doing anything until he is certain. This certainly has built a trust in how he practices. I recommend him whole-heartedly to anyone looking for a dentist who is a professional.

My one terror in life is the dentist! I must say that Dr. Schweifler allayed many of my fears and explained everything as we went along. This was my first appointment in 8 years... procrastination and fear. Hopefully I will begin to have less fear as we go along. I had many bad experiences with dentists as a youngster.

I've been seeing Ken for many years and his father before. Integrity, professional , honesty and knowledge of dentistry is the finest I've seen. The staff understands you as a person, your needs and are extremely helpful. It's never fun gong to the dentist, Ken and his staff make the experience a lot more tolerable and I would recommend he and his team again and again. (11/15/2017 Update) Until you have a problem you don’t know who will stand up and help. I broke a FRONT tooth on Saturday, I called Ken that morning, he saw me that afternoon!! Ken took the time away from his family to help me. Ken explained what would need to be done step by step, a root canal and a crown. Ken took extra care, quick to get me seen and out of pain, to get me through the weekend. He worked diligently get me in with his partner on Monday for the root canal, got me in the following day to do the prep for the crown... if that isn’t exemplary service, I don’t know what is. Dr. Schweifler is the best. He is very kind and caring. His knowledge and compassion are outstanding. The staff are very friendly and responsive. I have been going to this office since 1965, first with his dad, Edwin and now with Dr. Ken. I wouldn't go anywhere else. When I have needed a service that he didn't provide, his recommendations are always excellent. I feel very safe with this office.

Excellent dental office. I have been Dr. Schweifler's patient since he began practicing in Los Alto. He is so skilled, ethical and compassionate, that I feel fortunate to have him as my dentist. His assistant, Celia, and receptionist, Carla, are efficient and kind. What's not to like?
